| Membership of the Shelley Group brings many benefits; a colour magazine, invitations to social gatherings, research and finding services, free entry in the Group's classified section, complementary fair tickets, discounted ceramic books and the chance to purchase Shelley Group publications, cards and posters. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

As a member of the Shelley Group you will receive a quarterly colour magazine full of interesting articles. The magazine is published in March, June, September and December and members are encouraged to contribute to it whether it is only a few lines or a longer article. As a member of the Shelley Group you will be invited to attend regional gatherings organized by your regional representative. These gatherings have included picnics, beach parties, lunches and visits. Many gathering are held in members homes where you will be able to see their collection. |

| Other gatherings are held as coffee-breaks at popular collectors fairs. Members meet in the cafe .for a much-needed rest and show their purchases. Look out for details on the "News and Dairy" section. |  |

As a member of the Shelley Group our research officer is able to research patterns, shapes and designs, in fact any Shelley or Wileman questions you may have. As a member of
the Shelley Group, the Magazine will offer you a
classified section in which you can advertise to try and
find items you may want to purchase, or indeed items that
you may want to sell. We have recently also launched a
finding service which aims to unite members with pieces
to sell with members looking for those pieces to buy. As a member of the Shelley Group, you will be invited to attend the annual Shelley Weekend. This event combines our annual general meeting with social events, talks and workshops, an exhibition, and a silent auction. This event also gives members a chance to meet other members with similar collecting interests. We like to think that the Shelley Group offers a comprehensive range of benefits to our members, but we are always open to new ideas. If you have any suggestions please let us know. Membership fees for the current year are listed below. If you would prefer to pay in either US or Australian dollars, we have made arrangement for you to do so. If you are joining after April you will be sent all the magazines that have been issued in that year. However, if you are joining after January you can choose to join for a 15 month period, but you will not receive any previously issued magazines for that year |

The Shelley Group was entered into the Central Register of Charities on 15th May 2003 and given a registration number, (which, fortunately, we do not have to stamp on our bottom!). One of the effects of our registration is that we can apply for tax, paid by our members on their membership fees, to be refunded to us under the Gift Aid Scheme. If you are a UK tax payer please make sure you let us know so that the Group can benefit from the gift aid. Please contact the Membership Secretary if you have any queries. |
