The term 'Breweriana' did not exist in the days of the Wileman and Shelley factory but it has been known to have been defined as "Collectable historical brewery advertising" whilst Wikipedia states "Breweriana commonly refers to any article containing a brewey name or brand name". In this 16 page comb bound booklet, Gerry Pearce discusses these definitions and
Wileman and Shelley's involvement in this market. In addition, although technically not defined as Breweriana, items on the fringe of the collecting interest such as cigarette and tobacco advertising products and Toby jugs are also featured. A wide range of pieces are discussed and the booklet is richly populated with some 63 separate illustrations.
